Was an American preacher who fought for human rights as well as civil rights.sojourner herself was born as slave in New york. During her life time, Truth Sojourner tried to help stop slavery. The US civil war witnessed her help black union soldiers obtain supplies.This great woman also worked as a conserver for national freedom relief association.
We note another incredible lady by the name Rosa Parks who died in October 24 year 2005.she was once mistreated by being asked to leave office to be replaced by a white man which she did not obey.this led to her being fined.Her courageous acts made her supporters strike to overrule that ruling.Her life time saw her defend civil rights.
Shirley Anita born in Brooklyn was a lady who dedicated her time to serving the people as a teacher. She also was a politician who represented her people well as an assembly woman . As a democrat Shirley became a member in the congress
